Testing is conducted against internationally recognised food-contact safety standards to verify that the silicone material is suitable for repeated direct contact with food under normal cooking conditions.
Test Summary
The test was conducted by SGS under US FDA 21 CFR 177.2600, which evaluates migration and extractives from rubber articles intended for repeated food contact. This includes analysis of total extractable content when the material is exposed to food-simulating solvents at elevated temperatures.
The sample passed all criteria. The results confirm that the silicone material does not release harmful substances into food under conditions representative of normal air fryer cooking.
